Caracas, January 10 (RHC)-- During the televisprogram ion broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, Con el Mazo Dando, the Minister of Popular Power for Interior Relations, Justice, and Peace, and Sectoral Vice President of Political Sovereignty, Security, and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, stated that Venezuela is in a process of peace, despite the constant threats from the fascist right with foreign agents.

Cabello pointed out that this is not the first time these far-right sectors have disregarded the results issued by the National Electoral Council (CNE). "There are those who believe that Venezuela will achieve nothing through the electoral process and seek to bring violence." On January 10, what the people chose will be sworn in, our president Nicolás Maduro Moros. This will be a celebration, except for the fascists who always cry fraud and seek to create violence," he stated.

The minister also warned the extremist opposition that violence will not be an effective way to achieve their goals. "It's better that they get off that cloud because they are going to get a tremendous shock." "They are going to fall very hard," he indicated, adding that the far-right is trying to negatively impact through fake news on social media.

"They have a terrible war on social media among themselves, because the only ones deceiving each other are them," stated the official.

Cabello denounced that the accusations from previous years by officials against the Venezuelan Government are just attempts to generate violence with "recycled stories."

Additionally, he announced that various activities will be carried out across the country in the coming days, including a march scheduled for January 9 from Petare to Plaza Luis Brión in Chacaíto, Caracas.

Coup plan by the far-right

Minister Cabello also denounced an alleged coup plan presented by the former rector of the CNE, Enrique Márquez, describing it as a maneuver to prevent the inauguration of President Nicolás Maduro. According to Cabello, this plan would involve making pronouncements in foreign embassies, which, according to him, represents a forced extension of Venezuelan sovereignty.

"It is proposed that the president elected on July 28, Edmundo González Urrutia, be able to take the oath of office as president-elect, assume office, and issue provisional government acts in a place other than the city of Caracas as the seat of national public power," states the document.

In this sense, it is proposed that one could take an oath before an assembly of Venezuelan citizens at a diplomatic mission of the Republic of Venezuela as an irrenounceable extension of the Republic's sovereignty abroad," adds the letter from the right, revealed by Cabello.

Cabello recalled that according to the Venezuelan Constitution, the president can only be sworn in before the National Assembly.

"The goal of the far-right is to see if they can sway global opinion to believe that the Venezuelan regime is harming Venezuelans." "We are not like that; those who are like that are them," emphasized Cabello, who also urged the revolutionary forces to be prepared for the actions of the opposition.

"Venezuela is at peace throughout its territory, but we are obliged to be prepared," he added.

"They came out saying that this man is a saintly child of the knife, there are no saints here, especially if there's money involved, in that opposition everything is contaminated, absolutely everything," asserted the also first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV).

He specified that Márquez is linked to the American FBI agent who was arrested and to the son-in-law of Edmundo González Urrutia.Additionally, he confirmed the close friendship of this opposition citizen with Juan Barreto.

The minister emphasized that the opposition attempted to disregard the electoral results of July 28 with the intention of generating destabilization and gathering forces to promote an insurrection.

"Every time they lose an election, they disregard the CNE's results," emphasized Cabello, who concluded by urging all sectors to remain vigilant against these threats.

Venezuela wants peace

The Minister of Interior, Justice, and Peace indicated that Venezuela seeks peace despite the fascist threats from the right regarding Nicolás Maduro's inauguration.

In this regard, he assured that different activities will continue to be carried out throughout the Venezuelan national territory in the coming days and confirmed the march on January 9 from Petare to Plaza Luis Brión in Chacaíto, Caracas.
