Washington, December 2 (RHC)-- The U.S. House of Representatives has voted to block federal rules to cut power plant emissions only hours after President Barack Obama delivered a speech at the climate summit in Paris, pledging the United States would help lead the world in addressing climate change.
The Environmental Protection Agency rules seek to cut carbon emissions from existing power plants and implement limits on emissions for new facilities. But the Republican-controlled House voted to block these measures Tuesday.
