Havana, February 4 (RHC)-- Officials with the Cuban Foreign Ministry held talks Friday with Governor John Hickenlooper of the U.S. State of Colorado, who is here on an official visit.
Director for the United States at the ministry Josefina Vidal wrote on her twitter account that governor Hickenlooper is being accompanied in his Cuba trip by a large delegation. She said the aim of the visit is to lay the foundations for strengthened cultural and economic exchanges between Colorado and Cuba.
Denver Business Journal reported that the visit takes place as a group of firms and entrepreneurs from Colorado are seeking to broaden their links with Cuba.
