Washington D.C. May 23 (RHC)--A Business forum held in the US capitol this week shows that US are interested in widening ties with Cuba.
The president of the US-Cuba Business Council, Carlos Gutierrez, told Prensa Latina news agency that lawmakers, politicians, and executives who favor the normalization of bilateral relations took part in the event.
Gutierrez added that participants expressed disappointment with current Trump Administration´s Cuba policies, and expressed regret that the application of measures by the White House has meant a setback in bilateral relations.
Attending executives voiced their support to the lifting of travel restrictions and the interest by US sectors to grant credits to Cuba for the purchasing of food.
