Havana, October 1 (RHC)-- Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will make an official visit to Cuba on Thursday, the island´s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.
During his visit, Medvedev will hold talks with Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, on current issues concerning Russian-Cuban cooperation in trade, economic, investment, energy, transport, cultural, humanitarian and other fields.
It is expected that a number of bilateral intergovernmental and interdepartmental agreements as well as commercial contracts will be inked following the talks.
Cuba and Russia maintain close relations in various areas, including political dialogue on issues on the international agenda.
