Havana, Jun 3 (RHC) Cuban health authorities announced on Thursday 1,052 new COVID-19 cases and eight deaths in the last 24 hours from complications caused by the disease.
With this update, the Caribbean nation now accumulates 145,566 patients diagnosed with the coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020, and 985 fatalities due to the disease.
Havana reported the largest amount of autochthonous cases, 417. It was followed by Santiago de Cuba with 122, and Pinar del Rio with 65.
The health intervention with the homegrown Cuban anti-COVID-19 vaccines had reached 2 223 826 jabs by midnight.
