Havana, September 2 (RHC)-- Higher Education in Cuba will gradually move towards face-to-face classes, will prioritize individualized attention, and will begin the next school year in April 2022.
This, according to statements by the Minister of Higher Education (MES), José Ramón Saborido.
The official said that universities will restart September 6 the distance teaching process.
However, universities with conditions can start with a higher degree of physical attendance, he pointed out.
The Ministry foresees for next November the beginning of face-to-face classes until the end of the current school year in March.
During this time, teachers will carry out pending evaluations, systematize contents, attend to students with difficulties and teach subjects of the second period with curricular adjustments.
The Higher Education authorities informed that in April 2022 the next course should start, which will last until December of the same year.
