Havana, Dec 16 (RHC)--The first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), Miguel Díaz-Canel, presides this Thursday the 3rd Plenary Session of that political organization.
The meeting will take place through Friday at Havana's Convention Center to analyze the revitalization and updating of the work of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (the most significant mass organization in the country) and the Federation of Cuban Women.
As reported by the Presidency on its official Twitter account, 113 members of the Central Committee participate in the exchange. They will also evaluate the fulfillment of the Agreements of the Second Plenary Session of the PCC, held last October.
The meeting emphasized the improvement of the Party's work, its link with the people's power and workers, the permanent exchange of the party members with the people on the processes of the Cuban economy, and the progress of the measures for the socialist state enterprise and other actors.
