Panama City, Jun 13 (RHC)--A Cuban delegation headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Elio Rodríguez arrived in Panama on Monday on an official visit.
The delegation was received at the Tocumen international terminal by the island's ambassador to the isthmus, Lidya Margarita González.
Rodriguez will head the Cuban delegation to a bilateral migration round slated for Thursday.
Other delegation members are the director of Central America, Mexico, and the Caribbean of the Foreign Ministry, Gustavo Véliz; the director of Migration Policy and Attention to Cubans Resident Abroad, Yanet Estable; and the member of the Directorate of Identification, Immigration, and Aliens Tatiana Pupo.
According to their schedule, the Cuban diplomats will meet with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Secretary-General, Jones Cooper.
Likewise, meetings are planned with representatives in the canal country of organizations such as the United Nations Agency for Refugees and the International Committee of the Red Cross.
The stay includes meetings with the Martiana Association of Cuban Residents in Panama and with members of the group of the diplomatic mission of the island.
