Diaz-Canel ends his visit to Algeria. Twitter of the Presidency
Algiers, November 19 (RHC)-- Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel ended his visit to Algeria, a nation he arrived in on November 16th and the first stop of official visits that will continue to Russia, Turkey and China.
At the airport, he was bid farewell by Algerian Prime Minister Aiman Benabderrahmane, with whom the Cuban leader had a cordial meeting hours earlier, according to the Presidency's Twitter account.
The also first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba met this Friday in Algiers with a representation of Cuban collaborators working in Algeria and with the staff of the embassy of the Antillean nation in that country.
As part of the activities of his second day in the North African country, the head of state and his delegation toured the Great Mosque of Algiers, considered the third largest in the world.
