Havana, November20 (RHC)-- A dynamic test is taking place this Sunday in Cuba, prior to the selection of delegates to the Municipal Assembly of People's Power (AMPP), to check the mechanisms of communication, transportation and performance of electoral authorities.
During the implementation of the exercise, they will also examine the existence of patriotic symbols in the places chosen for the suffrage of citizen representatives and the general conditions of each school, with the purpose of solving any irregularities.
The process contributes to the successful performance of the electoral day, organized for November 27, and also includes the verification of the lists of voters, already published in each demarcation, the biographies and photos of the candidates.
On this occasion, 26,746 Cubans were nominated for delegates to the AMPPs, after the holding of 44,929 nomination assemblies in which more than six million voters participated, according to data provided by the National Electoral Council (CEN).
The entity also informed that more than 180 thousand electoral authorities, 1,400 supervisors, more than 24 thousand collaborators and support personnel, and 22,205 young people will exercise their right to vote for the first time.
According to the CNE, the second round will take place on December 4 in those districts in which none of the candidates obtains more than 50 percent of the valid ballots cast.
