Havana, Nov 21 (RHC) Egypt's Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar and Cuba's Health Minister Jose Angel Portal discussed Monday in Cairo ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the sector.
During the meeting, Abdel Ghaffar highlighted the links between the two countries in this area.
In this regard, he cited the recent signing of a memorandum of understanding, which covers collaboration in areas such as scientific exchange, human resources training, and consultancy.
The visit of the Cuban official takes place within the framework of the deep and interconnected relations between the two friendly countries.
The Cuban official also referred to the importance of cooperation between the Caribbean country and Egypt in the field of health.
