Cuba called for an Extraordinary Parliamentary Session

Havana, Dec 11 (RHC) The Cuban Council of State today convened the Sixth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of People's Power (parliament) in its 9th legislature for December 14, the body reported on its website.

According to the portal, the decision was adopted on the occasion of the 18th anniversary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-People's Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP).

During the extraordinary session, the members of the Council of State also analyzed the draft law on the State Budget for 2023 before its presentation to the 10th ordinary period of the National Assembly of People's Power.

On this day, debates were held in the permanent working commissions of the Parliament, mainly focused on the socio-economic situation of the country and the development of the legislative schedule. (Source: Prensa Latina)
