Havana, Feb 2 (RHC) The Office of the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) and the Union of Computer Scientists of Cuba (UCI) signed on Wednesday a collaboration agreement for academic, scientific, and cultural activities that contribute to the specialized training of its members.
The agreement also establishes the promotion and dissemination of professional results; or any other type of activity that benefits both parties.
The collaboration between the UCI and the FGR contemplates the realization of dissemination, promotion, and training activities in the field of information technology professionals, communications, electronics, automation, and other related specialties, as well as related to the responsibilities and objectives of each party and within the terms to be established.
The document was signed by Dr. Ailyn Febles Estrada, national president of the UIC, and Yamila Peña Ojeda, Attorney General of the Republic.
The agreement is in line with the provisions of Article 21 of the Constitution of the Republic of Cuba, which promotes the advancement of science, technology, and innovation as essential elements for the economic and social development of the country. (Source: Granma newspaper)
