Havana, Feb 26 (RHC) Emigrants and friends of Cuba will unite their voices, this Sunday, for the end of the U.S. blockade against the Island and its removal from the list of alleged countries sponsoring terrorism.
According to the organizer of the solidarity project 'Bridges of Love', Carlos Lazo, the activists will take to the streets with messages in favor of the end of the economic war against Cuba and the rapprochement between both peoples.
The demonstrations in the U.S. will take place in Miami, Seattle, New York, and Minneapolis, a claim that will also reach Montreal (Canada) and other cities around the world.
The Cuban-American professor said on his official Facebook account that "if there is no caravan or events in your city, be the event, be the caravan!
"We call for the lifting of cruel sanctions that punish and kill the Cuban people!" added Lazo.
The solidarity caravans take place the last weekend of every month and among other demands defend the family reunification program, the sending of remittances, and travel to Cuba, affected by the more than 240 measures imposed by former U.S. President Donald Trump (2017-2021).
