Havana, March 10 (RHC) A total of eight houses were delivered Thursday to 14 outstanding workers of the scientific community of the National Center for Biopreparations (BioCen), a national reference branch of BioCubaFarma, as part of the Life Project developed by the Business Group for human care.
The delivery ceremony, held in the town of Bejucal, Mayabeque, was presided over by the candidates to the 10th Legislature of the Cuban Parliament Yuniasky Crespo Baquero, first secretary of the Party in Mayabeque; Tamara Valido, governor of Mayabeque; Eduardo Martínez Díaz, president of BioCubaFarma; and Tamara Lobaina Rodríguez, general director of BioCen, and other leaders and workers.
Martínez Díaz stressed that housing is a prioritized program within BioCubaFarma's Life Project while highlighting that work is being carried out in several scientific communities, not only in terms of houses, but also in the construction of other vital services such as pharmacies, warehouses, and parks.
He pointed out that the Group's companies with the best economic results contribute to a fund that helps other entities to finance this project for the welfare of mankind. (Source: Granma)
