Debate on creation of projects and companies
Havana, March 20 (RHC) Diversifying the training of economic actors with an emphasis on women and youth, and sharing experiences on the creation of projects and companies, is today an essential premise of the Cuban Ministry of Economy and Planning.
This is a joint project with the collaboration of the United Nations Development Program, and the Swedish International Cooperation Agency to contribute to the strategic priorities of autonomous territorial development.
The appointment, until March 21, will promote exchanges between various institutions, incubators, local development centers, science-technology parks, and interface companies.
It is the first time that a project of this type is promoted, aimed primarily at micro, small and medium-sized companies, and other private sector ventures to effectively insert themselves into the productive fabric of the country.
According to Daniel Torralba, specialist from the Ministry of Economy and Planning 's Directorate of Economic Actors, one of the aims of this project is to reduce the deficiencies and deficits identified in the development of the private sector in Cuba, such as the training to carry out a business plan. Vulnerabilities that can be reduced through training courses, incubators, foreign experiences, and always with the vision of reducing the gender gap.
