Cuban Prime Minister exchanges with Holguín authorities
Holguín, March 24 (RHC) Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero exchanged with political, governmental and executive authorities of Holguín and urged them to seek local solutions and alternatives to improve the living conditions of the citizens.
The analysis focused on the situation of water resources, public health, housing and food production, among other vital issues for the socioeconomic development of that territory.
The Minister of Public Health, José Ángel Portal, also participated in the meeting and pointed out that although in the province there is coverage of doctors and nurses in all offices, it is still necessary to improve the quality of medical care.
During the meeting, issues related to the strategy for the rehabilitation and construction of houses in 2023, care programs for mothers with three or more children, and the importance of family doctors and nurse programs were discussed.
Directors of the National Institute of Hydraulic Resources discussed concrete actions to shorten the drinking water distribution cycles, the schedules for the drilling of wells and the construction of new works.
For his part, Ydael Pérez, head of Agriculture, spoke about the plans for food, grains and vegetables, as well as the delivery of land for the pig program. (Source: Prensa Latina)
