Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterates condemnation of US blockade
Havana, April 6 (RHC) Cuba Minister of Foreign Affairs Bruno Rodríguez reiterated today the condemnation of the blockade imposed by the United States with the purpose of subverting the revolutionary process on the island.
On his Twitter profile, the highest representative of Cuban diplomacy stated that such an inhumane policy of maximum pressure and economic suffocation, implemented 63 years ago, disregards the universal clamor for a Cuba without a blockade. He also pointed out that this northern power fails in the attempt to subjugate a sovereign nation, which is “a stronghold of dignity and creative resistance”.
This hostile policy against Cuba intensified to unprecedented levels starting in 2017, and especially in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, and it remains practically unchanged despite the almost unanimous rejection of the international community. (Source: Prensa Latina)
