Havana, May 23 (RHC)-- The Sixth Plenary Session of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (CCPCC) began Tuesday morning, presided over by the First Secretary of the CCPCC and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez.
The meeting, which takes place in the Plenary Hall of the Palace of the Revolution in this capital, is attended by members of the Political Bureau, the CCPCC Secretariat and the 113 members of the Central Committee.
At the beginning of the meeting, the member of the Political Bureau of the PCC and Secretary of Organization, Roberto Morales Ojeda, recalled that just two years ago, around this time, Diaz-Canel called on Cuban scientists to have our own vaccines and they did not fail.
"With that spirit and convinced that it is possible, the 6th Plenary Session of the CCPCC begins," said Morales Ojeda, who later made a review of the agreements of previous Plenary Sessions, pending or which are being followed up.
The agenda of this day includes the usual presentation of the Accountability Report on the work of the Political Bureau since the V Plenum to date, the evaluation of the fulfillment of the Guidelines of the Economic and Social Policy of the Party and the Revolution, as well as the discussion of the Draft Code of Ethics of the Cadres.
Likewise, the draft of the Call to the Second National Conference of the Party shall be submitted to the approval of the members of the CCPCC.
