Cuba is against human trafficking
Havana, July 31 (RHC) Cuban Foreign Ministry expressed the government's intolerance of human trafficking, an international crime against humanity and violation of human rights.
Cuba maintains its zero-tolerance policy against any form of human trafficking, the Foreign Ministry said in a message on its X profile.
We continue to implement the National Action Plan, which is fundamental in the joint action of the State and civil society to prevent, combat and protect the victims of this crime, the text added.
Since 2014, the World Day against Human Trafficking, established by the United Nations General Assembly in 2013, has been celebrated every year on July 30.
This year's commemoration focuses on raising awareness of the causes and vulnerabilities associated with child trafficking, and emphasizes the need to support child victims of this problem. (Source: Prensa Latina)
