Cuban Deputy Prime Minister completes work visit to Spain
Havana, Jan 25 (RHC) The Vice-Prime Minister of Cuba, Ricardo Cabrisas, has just finished a three-day trip to Spain, during which he engaged in productive discussions in various fields.
Cuban official sources confirmed that Cabrisas had a meeting with representatives from Spain in the government, business, and financial sectors.
The meetings, which covered topics related to the history and successful economic partnership between Cuba and Spain, evidenced a strong desire to expand and deepen cooperation and trade in all these areas for the benefit of both countries.
Moreover, Cabrisas delved into the challenging circumstances that the Caribbean island is experiencing, particularly in recent years, due to various factors such as hurricanes or earthquakes.
The Cuban official’s schedule included meetings with Carlos Cuerpo, the Minister of Economy, Trade and Enterprise; José Luis Bonet, the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Spain; Jaime García-Lega, the head of the Cuban-Spanish Business Committee; and Pablo de Ramón-Laca, the executive president of the Spanish Credit Insurance Company.
While in Madrid, he also visited the Cuban pavilion at the International Tourism Exhibition and engaged in various activities that provided opportunities for interaction with key figures in the Spanish business community.
This way, Cabrisas has completed a successful working trip to Europe, having previously visited France and Italy. (Source: Prensa Latina)
