Havana, February 12 (RHC) --Cuban Culture Minister Alpidio Alonso shared on his social network X the news of the death of Cuban troubadour Eduardo Sosa, which occurred early Wednesday morning..
"Farewell, dear brother. Rest in peace," Alonso expressed his sorrow, after the report from the Cuban Institute of Music was made public.
The feelings of sadness and pain circulate on social networks, and the member of the Political Bureau of the Cuban Communist Party Roberto Morales also wrote: "We will always admire the exceptional voice of Eduardo Sosa and his firm commitment to Cuba and its Revolution."
"That is how we will remember him. Condolences to his family, friends and all the people who mourn him today," he concluded.
The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Cuba, Inés María Chapman, joined the sentiments of Cubans who loved Sosa and followed his music.
"It is with deep sadness that we learned this morning of the death of the outstanding composer, troubadour, revolutionary, and comrade Eduardo Sosa. Our condolences go out to his family and friends," declared the high-ranking Cuban official.
