Havana, April 5 (RHC)-- Bruno Rodríguez, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba, denounced this Saturday the deaths of Palestinian children in Gaza as a result of the Israeli military offensive.
“At least 100 children die or are injured daily in #Gaza, according to @UNRWA, due to the bombings and the military offensive relaunched by the Israeli army in the Strip,” the Cuban foreign minister posted on his social media account. “It is part of the extermination conceived by Israel against the Palestinian people, with the support of the U.S. government,” he wrote.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, UNRWA, is considered one of the largest United Nations programs.
Data released by the United Nations Children's Fund, UNICEF, highlights that since Israel broke the ceasefire with Hamas and resumed attacks on Gaza in the early hours of March 18, 322 Palestinian children have died and 609 have been injured.
