Havana, April 25 (RHC)-- Health Ministers of more than 40 countries who attended the just concluded International Convention on Public Health CubaSalud 2015 coincided in highlighting Cuba's health achievements and voiced their interest in further expanding and strengthening health cooperation with the Caribbean island country.
The headlines of newspapers in countries like Haití, Angola, Uruguay, Grenada, Brazil and Ecuador, praised Cuba's health cooperation with other peoples of the world and the island's contribution to personnel training in the sector.
Meanwhile, representatives from Eritrea, the Republic of Congo and Cape Verde signed various documents with Cuba to pave the way for future bilateral health cooperation projects.
Officials from the World Health Organization and the Pan-American Health Organization, who attended the Havana health convention and trade fair, also acknowledged the work of Cuban specialists in different health areas, particularly their contribution to the fight against Ebola in West Africa.
