Havana, May 20 (RHC)-- Angolan Vice President Manuel Domingos Vicente concluded on Wednesday his official visit to Cuba, where he developed a packed agenda.
The Angolan vice president paid homage to Cuban internationalist fighters who lost their lives in the struggle for Angola's independence.
During his stay in Cuba, Manuel Domingos Vicente held talks with Cuba's First Vice President Miguel Díaz-Canel and with other Cuban government officials.
The distinguished visitor also held talks with Gerardo Hernández and Fernando González –two of the five Cuban anti-terrorist fighters, who served unjust prison sentences in the United States.
Cuba and Angola established diplomatic ties in 1975. Ever since, the two countries have maintained strong cooperation relations in areas as health, construction, education, science and technology, among others.
