Kuwait City, September 23 (RHC)-- Cuba's Deputy Health Minister Alfredo González met in Kuwait City with his Kuwaiti counterpart Kaled Sagui and the country's Health Minister Ali Sad Al-Obaidi, with whom he explored new areas for strengthened health cooperation.
Kuwait was the last leg of a tour of Arab countries, which also took Deputy Minister González to Qatar and Bahrain, where he visited several orthopedics and rehabilitation hospitals.
During his stay in Kuwait, the Cuban deputy health minister visited the world famous Dasman Diabetes Institute, where he met with the experts team that is participating in a joint Cuba-Kuwait program for the development in the Arab country of the Cuba medication Heberprot P, which is used in the treatment of diabetic food ulcers.
