Havana, October 28 (RHC-PL) -- Army General Leopoldo Cintra Frias, Cuban Minister of the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR), met with Army General Do Ba Ty, Vietnam's Deputy Defense Minister in Havana. According to Granma newspaper, the official reception took place at the headquarters of the Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces, attended by high-ranking military officers from both countries.
As part of the meeting, a joint working session was carried out, where the Chief of the Staff of the Vietnamese People's Army was interested in learning about the experiences acquired by Cuba in the modernization of technique and armament.
The high-ranking Vietnamese commander pointed to the special relationship between the two peoples, and his country's willingness to help friends.
This three-day visit by the Vietnamese deputy defense minister to Cuba, which ends today, also contributed to strengthening bilateral defense relations.
