Havana, February 22 (RHC)-- Cuba and Belgium have agreed to give a boost to academic cooperation between the two countries, particularly the program involving five Belgian universities and Cuba's Universidad de Oriente (UO).
During a Workshop on Trade Opportunities and technology Transfer, organized by the Cuban higher education center, participating experts from the two countries set forth advances made in terms of medical equipment, research and the use of Biomedical imaging technologies -- all of which has impacted positively on Cuba's health system.
The workshop also debated the impact of products and services developed by Cuba's National Center for Applied Electromagnetism in such sectors as health, agriculture, industry and the environment.
