Historically, the United States has sheltered corrupt and coup-mongering elements from Latin America and ultra-right-wing elements of Cuban origin. The city of Miami, in the state of Florida, has been and continues to be the center of terrorist and regime change operations against other nations.
These interventionist actions against Cuba were forged since the triumph of the Revolution in January 1959, when torturers and criminals of the bloody dictatorship of Fulgencio Batista (1952-1958) found refuge in U.S. territory.
They began to see the light of day groups whose objective was to put an end to the revolutionary process in order to recover their considerable fortunes and properties, amassed with the exploitation of the people.
Over the years, these organizations have been joined by others. A truly lucrative business, which at all times has counted on the ever-increasing monetary support of the authorities.
Without the consent of the U.S. taxpayer, the government has allocated millions of dollars to finance these groups, which on many occasions present themselves as NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations), and which seek to penetrate Cuban society, seducing certain elements with money to promote provocative and destabilizing actions against the constitutional order.
There is a wide mosaic of these groups, most of which, curiously enough, insist on having the word democracy in their names. Such is the case of the so-called Democracy Support Group, focused on alleged political prisoners in Cuba and their families.
We also have the so-called Cuban Democratic Directorate, which according to an audit, in 2019 alone spent more than a million dollars on radio programming and purported civic activities aimed at Cuban youth.
Visible are the threads of this whole plot against Cuba, which over the years, in the face of its total failure, has been looking for other ways and new followers, a strategy that in recent times has been aimed at the cultural sector.
The visible threads of the plot against Cuba
The evidence provided by Cuba reveals how they are prepared, financed trips abroad for their participation in forums and workshops, which have the clear intention of provoking chaos to lead to the fall of the Revolution.
Recordings, images and the statements of a doctor, for 25 years a State Security agent, have shown how behind those who are today promoting an anti-constitutional march in Cuba there are figures linked precisely to those terrorist organizations based in Miami, such as Alpha 66 and Omega-7, among others, well known for their criminal acts against the Cuban people.
This new provocative action is no coincidence, which, as denounced by the Greater Antilles, is part of the unconventional war or soft coup scenario that is being tried to be applied in our country.
