It is already a fact that the Zionist State of Israel is preparing a ground offensive against southern Lebanon, which will definitely extend the conflict to the entire Middle East, creating the worst possible scenario in a very sensitive region.

The truth is that this does not come as a surprise, because Tel Aviv has been preparing the expansion of the conflict for several months as another step in its strategy to become the hegemonic power in the region with the support of the United States and the belligerent NATO.

Last June, Zionist Foreign Minister Israel Katz openly declared: "We are approaching the moment of deciding to change the rules of the game against Hezbollah and Lebanon. "In an all-out war, Hezbollah will be destroyed and Lebanon will be hit hard."

More than three months ago, the Israeli military also confirmed in a public statement that it had approved and validated plans for a military offensive in Lebanon, although it did not specify a timetable for implementation.

Recall that Zionist bombardments of southern Lebanon are frequent, as is Hezbollah's rocket fire into Israel.

It was only a matter of time and this seems to have been fulfilled, which is why the signing of a communiqué led by the United States, the European Union and other countries on Wednesday called for an immediate 21-day ceasefire to end the crisis.

The document states that this conflict benefits no one and that it is time to reach a diplomatic agreement that would allow civilians on both sides of the border to return to their homes in safety.

So far, everything seems normal, except for the fact that the United States does not need a joint communique to stop the escalation of the war. Everyone knows that Joseph Biden only has to pick up the phone and order Benjamin Netanyahu to stop the bombing. If he is really interested in peace, he only has to warn the Zionist Prime Minister that if he does not obey, he will stop the shipment of sophisticated weapons and cut off the financial flow to Tel Aviv.

But peace is not an objective for the United States, never has been, and even less so now that it has found the formula to increase its power without sending its soldiers into combat, since it has Ukraine in Northern Europe and Israel in the Middle East, and is building a NATO to suit its needs in Asia.

If anyone doubts this, look at the major armed conflicts of recent decades and you will discover Washington's hand in all of them.
