Havana, February 3 (RHC)-- Saudi Arabia will again participate at Cuba's International Book Fair this year for the second time after a successful participation at the literary event held in 2013.

The Arab nation expects to present a diverse offer, including scale models of the Medina and Mecca mosques, and other cultural options, said Sabed H. Al-jomae, Saudi ambassador to Cuba in statements to Granma newspaper.

Over a dozen books have already been translated into Spanish for the fair particularly aimed at children, said the ambassador, who recalled that the participation of youths and children was pretty large at the fair last year.

The book fair, to take place February 13 to March 9,  will be dedicated to Ecuador  and will offer over 700 books, out of which 32 come from Ecuador, whose president Rafael Correa will be at hand during the event.

Correa will launch his book entitled From The Banana Republic to the Non-Republic at the Havana Book Fair.
Over 150 world personalities have confirmed attendance of the event, including 120 writers and 138 exhibitors.
