The musical Amigas will go back to Havana’s Karl Marx Theater as of April 10 with a renovated version directed and choreographed by maestra Lizt Alfonso.
Remarkable changes will be enjoyed by audiences in this Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba show which has successfully toured Hamburg, Germany, where it premiered in 2011; the Kingdom of Bahrein; the Karl Marx Theater and the main stages in five Cuban provinces. Rehearsals are currently underway and the finishing touches are being put to AMIGAS in the company’s studios with the effort of dancers, musicians, singers and other very special guests that will be part of this renovated heart-breaking story of reencounters, forgiveness and friendship.
