Havana, Oct. 5 (RHC)-- Cuban singer-songwriter Liuba María Hevia has confirmed that she is working on new projects in collaboration with the Cuban Film Institute (ICAIC), which will have their world premiere on October 20th –Cuban Culture Day.
In a press release, the artist offered details on the reissue of her album ‘Travesía Mágica’, together with the release of two music videos for the tunes ‘Nana a mi marioneta’ and ‘Amanecer de la flor.’
Considered an indispensable exponent of children’s music in Cuba and Latin America, Hevia is giving a new boost to her artistic life, spanning 35 years. She is working with both, established and young artists from the animation world on the release of the first chapter of her documentary series entitled ‘Mi Niña imaginada’.
In the documentary series, the author of children’s music classics like ‘El vendedor de asombros’ and ‘Señor Arcoiris’ narrates her tours of remote communities and pediatric hospitals across Cuba, where she brought her art and exchanged with her faithful followers –Cuban children.
For these projects, which will see the light on October 20th, Liuba has the support of the Animation Studios at ICAIC, the Association of Writers and Artists (UNEAC) and BisMusic record label.
