Havana, July 17 (RHC)-- The latest installment of the Doves Project (Proyecto Palomas): Women of Faith, Signs of Loyalty, arrives this Sunday on Cuban television screens to bring the public closer to seven female stories marked by different religions.
The film by the Casa Productora de Audiovisuales para el activismo social presents a selection of short films of about two minutes, with their opinions, ideas and aspirations about the future of the largest of the Antilles, which on this occasion will focus on the statements of Danieska Megret, representative of the Bahá'í Community of Cuba.
Focused on the defense of diversity and the promotion of a culture of peace, under the leadership of Lizette Vila, the project articulates, on this occasion, the work of the Felix Varela Center, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industry and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
According to Cubacine, the television presentation will take place in the program Arte Siete, and will approach the visions around the National Project and the possible contributions to the National Program for the Advancement of Women.
A pioneer in the treatment of topics related to health, HIV and other issues, the Project has been active for two decades in the field of audiovisual production and workshops focused on groups in vulnerable situations, such as victims of violence, transgender people, the elderly, children and people with any disease.
The catalog of audiovisual productions includes titles such as Mujeres sobrevivientes a dos pandemias, Mi cuerpo, es mi vida; Ellas... sus cuidados y cuidadoras; Mujeres... los poderes vitales del éxito; Mujeres, la hora dorada, Mujeres... de la basura al bienestar, and many others.
