Havana Chamber Orchestra
Havana, May 25 (RHC) --The Havana Chamber Orchestra is getting its strings ready to bring to Cuba next Sunday the Hollywood Classics, in a unique show that will celebrate a new anniversary of the group at the Marti Theater in this capital.
The musical proposal includes pieces by great composers such as John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Alan Anthony Silvestri, Alexandre Desplat, among others, which are part of the soundtrack of numerous films.
Directed by Daiana García, the classical music format will accompany the compositions with the projection of some fragments of these films.
On this occasion, pianist Aldo López-Gavilán, clarinetist Alejandro Calzadilla, wind instrumentalists of the National Symphony Orchestra and the Entrevoces Choir, under the direction of maestro Digna Guerra, will also perform.
In charge of the musical production and orchestrations, the Havana Chamber Orchestra will have the collaboration of composer, pianist and arranger José Víctor "Pepe" Gavilondo.
