Nueva York, 11 feb (pl).- La búlgara Irina Bokova presentó formalmente su candidatura para ocupar el puesto de secretario general de la ONU.
Así lo anunció este jueves la oficina del presidente de la Asamblea General de las Naciones Unidas.
Bokova es actualmente directora de la UNESCO y se encuentra entre las principales postulantes en la lista de sucesores de Ban Ki-moon, cuyo mandato expira a finales de 2016.
Eslovenia presentó la candidatura del ex presidente Danilo Turk.
