Havana, February 11 (RHC)-- Uruguayan Vice President Raúl Sendic has begun an official visit to Cuba, during which he will hold talks with government authorities.
Sendic is heading his country's delegation to the 25th edition of Cuba's International Book Fair, which has Uruguay as country of honor.
The Uruguayan delegation has brought in some two thousand titles, representing all literary genres and tendencies.
Among the literary novelties, there is a book written by Uruguayan President Tabaré Vázquez, entitled “Las crónicas de un mal amigo”, which is a compilation of personal anecdotes of Vázquez, as head of state and from the time when he was a practicing oncologist.
