Havana, January 27 (RHC) -- With a draw in 71 moves against Russian GM Sergey Karjakin, Cuban GM Leinier Dominguez waved goodbye to the Tata Steel chess tournament, won for the fourth time by Armenian GM Levon Aronian.
The Cuban GM, which finished fifth in the tournament with six points, split the point in the last round with Karjakin, tenth in the World Chess Federation's ranking.
Leinier with 2754 ELO points ranks 14th in the world list, and filed during the contest three wins, six draws and two losses, and ended up winning three points for his personal ELO ranking.
