Tokyo, October 15 (RHC)-- Cuba's Yurisbel Gracial hit three hits in four turns at bat to help the SoftBank Falcons 9-4 win over the Orix Buffaloes in the Japanese Professional Baseball League (NPB) game played in Osaka.

Gracial also scored two runs to increase his average to 273.  His compatriot Leonys Martin had a bad day and went 3-0 with 2 strike-outs in the 6-0 defeat of the Lotte Marines against the Rakuten Eagles.  His average dropped to .238.

Another Cuban who failed in the day was the starter of the Dragons of Chunichi Dayán Viciedo, whose contract is independent from the Cuban Federation, when he hit 4-0.

In that game, the Dominican Zoilo Almonte extended his streak of consecutive games with hits to 21, but he left the field injured.
