Boxers from 10 countries and regions in addition to home participants will compete at the tournaments Giraldo Cordova Cardin and Roberto Balado, set to take place in Cuba from June 11th to the 21st, the National Boxing Commission recently announced.
According to a brief release cited by the sports site "Jit", China sends the largest delegation of 15 fighters to compete with Morocco, Venezuela, Hungary, and Argentina, at the two contests, that will be held at Havana’s landmark Sports Coliseum.
The list of competing countries also includes Chile, Sweden, Sri Lanka, Trinidad and Tobago and Dominican Republic, however the commission stressed attendance is expected to grow as more countries are yet to confirm in the coming days.
The Giraldo Cordova Cardin Tournament will run from June 11 to the 15, and the Roberto Balado from the 17 to 21st. In addition, organizers say, the finals of the National Boxing Series will be held in the same Coliseum on 24 to 29, of the same month.
