Second Yaime Perez in the Paris Diamond League
Havana, August 28 (RHC).. Cuban discus thrower Yaime Perez finished second on Saturday at the Paris Diamond League in Athletics, behind Croatian Sandra Perkovic and ahead of the recent Olympic champion in Tokyo, Valery Allman.
In the controversial system that bets everything on the last attempt, Yaimé, world champion in Doha-2019 and bronze in Tokyo-2020, achieved her best delivery (65.31 m), but was ahead of Perkovic (65.68).
