Arlenis Sierra leads by points
Havana, September 10 (RHC)-- Cuban Arlenis Sierra (A.R.Monex) stood out again this Friday in the Tour of Ardeche (France), crossing the finish line in third place in the third stage, carried out over 133.9 km in Avignon.
With her performance, the star of Cuban cycling keeps the green jersey of leader by points and is second in the most important classification, the overall individual, eight seconds behind the leader, the American Leah Thomas, who on Friday came in 31st place.
The third stage was defined in a demonic sprint between a quartet of riders, in which the Australian Chloe Hosking (Trek) won, followed by Barbara Guarischi (Movistar), and the Cuban, all with the same time of 3h39.11.
In the prestigious French Tour, with category 2.1 of the UCI, Arlenis Sierra has been among the first in the first three stages disputed of the seven planned: she won the first, was fourth in the second and third in Friday's stage.
