Havana, November 25 (RHC)-- Cuba won the first gold medal of the Junior Pan American Games Cali-Valle 2021 on Thursday, with the crowning of the mixed diving team in the springboard modality.

The West Indian quartet, made up of Anisley García, Carlos Daniel Ramos, Laydel Domínguez and Luis Gustavo, obtained a score of 471.2 units.

The silver medal went to the Mexican team of Alejandro Estudillo, María José Sánchez, Osmar Olvera and Randal Willars, who scored 468.35 points.

The United States squad, formed by Carson Tyler, Emilie Moore, Kaylee Bishop and Quentin Henninger, won the bronze medal with 417.1 points.
