In its court of the Fuente de San Luis Pavilion, known as La Fonteta, the Valencians will look for their first victory in this strong competition, in a duel that will start at three o'clock in the afternoon Cuban time.

On the 6th, the Taronja team lost in its debut with a score of 71-81 against Saski Baskonia, from Spain; while Lyon lost 62-69 against Olimpia Milano, from Italy.

In the first of those games Rivero was the top scorer of his team with 14 points, to which he added six rebounds and an assist, in what can be considered a good debut for him in that competition.

La Fonteta hosted this clash in which the home team started well winning 21-19 in the first quarter, but in the second they fell 12-20 to go to the break behind 33-39.

Then, in the third period the locals were better 23-20, although in the last quarter they conceded 15-22 to the visitors, according to the official site of the tournament.

For Valencia Basket, Klemen Prepelic also stood out on offense, with 12 points, as well as Jared Harper and Jonah Radebaugh, both with 10; while on the other side, the most outstanding offensive player was Maik Kotsar (21).

As for the collective statistics, both teams grabbed 39 rebounds and Saski Baskonia was better in shooting from the field with a 49.3 percent of effectiveness, thanks to 34 baskets in 69 attempts, for a 40 % (24/60) of the Valencians.

Also from long distance both teams were identical with eight three-pointers in 24 shots, for a 33%.
