Cuba and Seychelles sign sports cooperation agreement

Havana, February 1 (JIT) - INDER and the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Family of the Republic of Seychelles signed a cooperation agreement in the field of physical culture and sports, which aims to strengthen ties between the two nations.

The signing was the culmination of a meeting held by Raúl Fornés Valenciano, first vice-president of INDER, with Sylvestre Radegonde, Seychelles Minister of Foreign Affairs and Tourism, and Ian Dereck Joseph Madeleine, Seychelles' concurrent ambassador to Cuba.

Gisleidy Sosa Cabrera, Inder's director of international relations, also participated on the Cuban side.

In the dialogue, held in an atmosphere of friendship and fraternity, the desire to strengthen collaboration in the sports sector, initiated in 2009, was emphasized.
