One win and three losses for Cuba in world youth boxing championship

Montenegro, Oct 29 (PL) Cuba lived a fateful day today in the World Youth Championship held in this city, with only one victory and three defeats.

David Espinosa in the 67 kilograms got the only victory of the squad by defeating Danil Guranda of Moldova in a fight corresponding to the quarterfinals of the tournament and thus secured the bronze metal.

Espinosa with this victory is included among the semifinalists of the tournament and will try in his next fight to access the discussion of the crown in the division.

The other Cubans in the date went out through the narrow door, the first of them Angel Sober (48 kg), who lost to Bilalhabasi Nazarov of Azerbaijan.

The same fate fell to Javier Alexander Rawlins (86 kg), who lost in a close 2-3 fight to Russian Kamil Dzhamaev and Yurisniel Abreu (75 kg), victim of Kazakhstan's Sanzhar-Ali Begaliyev.

The other Cuban representative still competing, Yojander Fuentes (57 kg), will try to secure a victory in the quarterfinals that will bring Cuba its second medal in the competition.
