Tokyo, Oct 30 (PL) The BayStars today evened the Japan Baseball League final series at two wins apiece after defeating the SoftBank Falcons five runs to zero.

For the winners there were homers by American fourth hitter Tyler Austin and fifth hitter Toshiro Miyazaki, as visitors at the Pay Pay Dome in Fukuoka.

On the mound, Anthony Kay, also from the U.S., had an excellent outing, and in seven innings left the Falcons with only four hits, with seven strikeouts, to get the victory.

Shuta Ishikawa was not bad for the opposing team, with just one clean sheet in five and two thirds, but his relievers were beaten.

With this result, everything remains even and it will be necessary to return to Yokohama to celebrate at least one more game.

So far, no team has been able to make its home condition count, as the visitor has always won.
