Havana, Dec 5 (JIT) - The 66th anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution will be celebrated this December 7 with a Martial Arts Gala, which will fill different squares in the country this Saturday.

The organizers of Inder and the Cuban Association of Martial Arts (Acam), intend to generate an unprecedented great festival from Cabo de San Antonio to Punta de Maisí.

The Ramon Fonst multipurpose hall will host the festival in the capital, also as a tribute to a date in which Operation Tribute is also remembered, by which the remains of the Cuban internationalist fighters were brought from Angola.

The Acam has approximately 40 thousand members, and most will show their skills in a call that will include the main modalities practiced on the island.

According to the president of the Acam, Master Nubia Bregado, masters from Mexico and Brazil will be represented, both of which are the main powers in the continent in the practice of this specialty.

The eighth Dan in karate stressed that the party also responds to the achievements that materialized in 2024, when agreements were signed with the nations mentioned above and South Korea, among others.
