
Barcelona advances to the Spanish soccer Copa del Rey final
Madrid, Apr 2 (PL) Barcelona sealed its place in the final of the Spanish soccer Copa del Rey today with a 1-0 victory over Atlético de Madrid in the second leg of the semifinals.
A 27th-minute goal by Ferran Torres, who has five in the tournament, off a pass from Lamine Yamal, sent the Catalans into the Copa del Rey title on April 26 at the La Cartuja stadium in Seville.
The Azulgranas advanced on aggregate after a 4-4 draw in the first leg in Barcelona in February.
Barcelona will face Real Madrid in the third Clasico of the season. The Culés won 4-0 in La Liga in October and then 5-2 in the Spanish Super Cup final in January.
